Talkers Guild

Talkers Guild is a Discord bot that rewards users for chatting. Each message earns you XP that accumulates gold passively. Level up to increase your stats, slay raid bosses with your words, participate in quests, send out expeditions, inscribe words from collected letters, and more.

Created with inspiration from Isabel Lee's Bread Winner and its idea of background activity as a progression mechanism, this bot was originally meant for our friend group's Discord server but ended up being a fun little project in its own right. The balance was tuned around our small server's activity levels, but it's designed to be portable to larger communities as well.
